Summer saw him leave and looked at grant. "What the hell did you do?"

Taylor overheard but didn't go out ot his car. She wasn't going to stop him. She made eye contact with Summer and her eyes swelled up with tears, so she went upstairs and sat in a bedroom trying to contain her tears.

Taylor was just sitting on the bed with her head in her hands. She thought he was actually going to be different this time..

Taylor: "But I didn't tell him that.. he just believed his friends." She sighs "I know he's scared, and so am I. And raising Anna is going to be terrifying! But he can't go smoke a joint every time he is scared or I'm not letting him be a part of Anna's life.. I can't make her go through that."

Grant: "Shit." He tossed his joint down and went outside to Mikey. "Summer told me to make you stop smoking." He rolls his eyes and leans against Mikey's car with him.
Taylor: "I did tell him.. and he did it anyway." She shakes her head and wipes the tears from her cheek

Taylor sighs and lets herself cry a little more before wiping away her tears.
Grant: "Summer wouldn't tell me either, dude. It sucks, and you'll be mad for a few hours. But when you see that baby.. I don't know, something just comes over you and you are so thankful that it's here.. It's a weird feeling, but it's worth it."

Summer hugged her "Its gonna be ok.. You know how grant is.. he'll talk to him about it..."
Mikey looked at grant "Yeah but thats different.. sorta... i mean.. you were dating summer... you knew on some level the kid was yours... but i wasnt dating taylor.. and i spent everyday of those 9 months taking care of her and the baby making sure they were healthy and had what they needed... i helped her up until the foster parents finally got her... i should have gotten to decide if i wanted to give up anna..." he told him

Taylor nods "I hope Mikey isn't mad at me... that's mostly what I'm worried about."
Grant: "You know that Taylor loves you, right?" He looks at him "Don't you?" He pauses "Because everyone else knows it. And when she gave up that baby.. she was doing it for you. She wanted nothing more than to keep Anna around and raise her, but she couldn't see you the way you are right now. She wanted you to be happy before herself and I think it's awesome that you're getting a second chance. But if you keep blaming her for what happened in the past, Anna is never going to get to see how you two are perfect for eachother." He looks confused. "Shit, and I just said all of that after smoking a joint!"
