mikey tried to stay strong as he walked off. He knew there was a chance he could die and never see her again, but he wasnt going to let that happen.
Sam had driven up, knowing taylor wasnt going to be able to make the drive home on her own

mikey took off his cadet cap and threw it to her yelling back that he loved her too. He knew she wouldnt approve of it, but he had taped an engagement ring on the inside of the cap.
Sam walked over to her, but didnt say anything
