Bailey was put on a stretcher and taken back as soon as they arrived. She was bandaged up and they done a rape kit on her and then the cops were talking to her afterwards. Emmett was there with her because she told them that she wouldn't talk to them unless he was with her. She told them what happened.
Deputy Kendrick spoke first, "Are you sure, Miss Vanderwood that it wasn't consensual? There's a few holes in your story and it looks like you don't remember to much about it.."
Bailey glared at him, "Alright, asshole I didn't agree to talk to you so you could treat me like I'm some kind of a whore..he raped me..and he beat me up.." she showed him the two bruises on her side, "I didn't plant this on myself..he did this.." She was crying now.

Deputy Kendrick looked at Emmett, "I know she's been through a lot but we need to know the truth.."
Bailey glared at him again, "And I told you the truth.."
Sheriff Hightower walked into the room, "Miss Vanderwood, we're gonna do everything we can to find him and make him pay for what he did to you.." He looked at Deputk Kendrick, "Outside! Now!" He looked up at Emmett, "May I speak to you too, please?"
Deputy Kendrick didn't say anything else, he just walked outside.

Sheriff Hightower looked at Emmett, "There's a severe sign of damage and its confirmed by the doctors that she was raped. I sent some Deputy's out to the address but he doesn't seem to be there..his brother Edward was and he said that he'd never come back after it all happened. That he was there to call the cops when he returned..we've got some officer's keeping an eye on his place and other places that his brother said he may have been and we will find her. We are also gonna put a 24 hour detail on her room as well and Deputy Kendrickk here will be assigened to that duty whenever he is on shift.."

Emmett nodded. "Do you have someone on (Kelsey's address) that's her best friend's place and mine. He thought me and Bailey were having an affair and got jealous, so it wouldn't surprise me if he turned up there. If not, I can send Edward over there, I gotta keep my sister safe too." he took a breath. "So, if he's not found, what happens then?"

Sheriff Hightower nodded, "We can do that as well." The Sheriff shrugged, "We're trying to take it a little at a time. If he isn't found then its possible that he skipped town and he may not be back but there may come a time when he does come back, and truth be told, I think he's still here."
