Adam got backand noticed Bailey wasn't there and called Emmett.

"They figured it out, asshole. From what I hear your dad was abusive too..and I'm not coming back..or at least not by myself. I'm coming to get some of my stuff tomorrow and Edward and Emmett will be with me and I dare you to touch me. I promise they won't hesitate to kick your ass and I won't stop them. Goodbye." She hung up and handed Emmett his phone back, "Asshole." meaning Adam.
Edward looked at Em and then back at Bailes, "Nice.." He'd never seen her talk that way to Adam and he'd never seen her act hostile either.
