Just then Marny walked up and asked Hadley for the car so her and Andy could go back to their place.
"Sure, i`ll take a cab. Have fun" Hadley smiled handing her best friend the keys.
Andy winked at Conner and the two of them left.

Conner laughed at Andy and shook his head as they watched them leave. He looked back at Hadley.

Hadley finished off her fourth rum and coke and was starting to feel it. "How do you feel about one night stands?' she giggled a little.

Hadley took his hand and they exited the party. Once they were out on the street she tried hailing a cab.

She turned and smiled at him. "Even better." She followed him to the beat up car and hesitated before getting in. If it hadnt been for the alcohol there was no way she would even be getting in.

Cooper sighed and looked at his piece of shit car. He got in the driver's seat and drove to 40th street. "Do you remember where you live?"

She looked at him and rolled her eyes. 'Of course I do. Keep going, its three doors down" When they pulled up in front of her place Hadley got out and started searching her purse for her keys. When she found them she opened the front door and half stumbled into the living room. "I`m sure Marny and Andy are already in her room"

Conner walked in behind her and caught her so she wouldn't trip over anything. He closed her door and held her wrist gently. "I figured as much."
