Brody kissed her back and then pulled away, smiling. "Don't let me distract you." He walked back over to his tee, glancing back at her with a smile.

Brody laughed a little, "So do I.." He put another ball on his tee and hit it, watching it land before getting another ball.

Brody emptied his bucket too and walked over to her, carrying his club with him. "Nice job."

Brody drove to an ice cream parlor, parked, and got out again. "You can order first." He told her as they walked inside.

"I'll have a small chocolate sundae." Brody took his sundae and paid, then walked out with Lexie.

Lexie took her icecream and sat on one of the picnic tables. She kissed his cheek "Thanks for the icecream." she smiled before taking a bite.

Brody grinned a little and ate his sundae. He looked up at the stars, thinking about work. He hoped this promotion was just the beginning. He wanted to be able to support Lexie, and he wanted her dad to know that too when they made their relationship known.
