The next morning, Jordan woke up to the alarm clock. He reached over quickly so it didn't wake Maura then slowly pulled away from Maura and got out of bed quietly so he could go get in the shower.

Maura was a light sleeper, so she did wake up when Jordan got up, but she pretended to be asleep

Jordan didn't notice Maura was up and he went and got in the shower, then when he finished he came out with his towel wrapped around him and started getting dressed.
