Nichole sighed "Kids do this Chad..they all go through phases where they're closer than one parent then the other, but she'll come around. I know it hurts when she acts like that but she's growing up and turning into a wonderful young woman, she's almost a teenager already. Us parents just have to realize kids go through a lot growing up and be there for them and let them know we're there even when they don't want us to be. Part of being a parent is loving them no matter how they're acting and supporting them no matter what. You just need to try and talk to her and keep trying to do things with her, eventually she'll get close to you again. You have to cherish the time you have with her cause she's growing up fast and soon she'll be starting junior high, then high school, learning to drive, then she'll be going off to college..and before we know it her and Ryan will be off living on their own, meeting people and getting married and starting their own families..and then they'll be going through the same thing you're going through now and they'll finally understand where we're coming from.."

Chad sighed "I don't even want to think about my daughters or my son growing up anytime soon. I need to come by and spend time with Ryan one weekend.."

"It shouldn't be hard. You should be happy thinking about your kids growing up and accomplishing things on their own and becoming adults.."
