Kevelyn put crossed her arms over her chest. "How could you do this to him? Don't you think he has enough to mind about, and now you put this huge bomb on him?"SHe didn't yell because she didn't want Nthan to hear from upstairs. "You think he's just gonna drop everything to play house with you?" She said that as if she knew Nate would never do that, kind of sarcasticlly, but the truth was that she didn't know, and that scared her, because she needed him, his money.

Haley looked at Kevelyn "First of all don't start your damn mouth on me. I wanted to tell him before about Natalie but we were getting a divorce and I couldn't call over the years so just leave me alone and this isn't the way I wanted to tell him about his daughter. And I never said for him to drop everything to play house with me. Why don't you go back to wherever you came from? Aren't you like a actress or something in crappy commericals?" Haley laughed

Kevelyn didn't mind the insult. She knew wasn't a famous actress, that's why she needed to get her hands on Nate's money. She was good enough to fool him. "Yeah well, Nate doesn't mind. You know, he's gonna propose to me soon, so it seems he's more over you than you think." She left her out there and walked inside again.

Haley heard Kevelyn say that about Nate proposing to her soon. Haley sighed and looked down at Natalie in her lap and then took out her cell phone and dialed Deb's number and talked to her for a while. Then she kept sitting there on the steps of the beachhouse and then dialed Nathan's cell phone number she gotten from Lucas a few months ago.

Nathan was lying down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. What was he supposed to do? He loved Haley, he did, but he also loved Kevelyn, or at least some level of that feeling. He sighed when he heard his cell pphone ring. HE pulled himself out of the bed and walked over to the jacket and answered the phone. "Yes?," he almost whispered.

"Look Nathan..this isn't the way I wanted to tell you about your daughter. I shouldn't have even told you but you were making me angry so I just kinda yelled it at you. But it's fine you have a great life with basketball and with Kevelyn..I don't expect you to want to be around for your daughter and it's fine. She has been fine without you for 4 years and we will be fine without your help. Just propose to Kevelyn like you plan on doing and marry that bitch who came out being so rude to me just while ago."

"You can just propose to Kevelyn and marry her and forget you have a daughter then since you are planning to propose to her. I wasn't rude to her Nathan..she is the one being a bitch with me not letting me in the beachouse earlier when it isn't your house or her's..it is Dan and Deb's who I have talked to alot over the last five years when their own son didn't. And then she came out here on the steps where I am sitting with Natalie and was rude to me for telling you about Natalie being your daughter and said you are planning to propose to her."

THe one that does something and then don¨'t take responibility. Natalie is my daughter," he whispered the last words because he still couldn't believe it was true, "and I'l take my share of the responisbility. She's a wonderful girl. But I'm not gonna put my whole life on hold because you decided to tell me now. You have made it clear that you don't want me in your life, even if you still love me. You just said it yourself, you want me to leave you alone. I am with Kevelyn now, and even though I still do love you and will probably always do, that's how it is. You haven't done something to persuade me to change that. So, bye Haley. I'll see you at the funeral tomorrow, and maybe we can sit down and talk about this after. Just you and me. And also, could you please try to get along with Kev? She's having a hard time with this too." He hung up before he could even get an answer.

Haley heard what Nathan said and heard him hang up on her. She texted his cell phone "I am sorry I kept the secret about Natalie from you for years. You don't seem too happy about her being your daughter. So just sign your rights away to her..well actually you don't have any at all. I do still love you Nathan and that never changed over the years. But you have moved on and don't love me anymore. So I guess you are going to propose to Kevelyn. No you don't still love me Nathan. Maybe we can talk about it but Kevelyn won't let you talk to me. She hates the fact that we were married and that you have a daughter..she wishes I never told you about Natalie cause she is a bitch and she was rude to me twice today. And she is the one that was rude to me so stop jumping on me about being rude to her. And she isn't having a hard time with anything. I seen her flirt with Caleb earlier at the beach and cafe so whatever Nathan.." Haley sent the text to his phone and waited for an answer back so she needed to talk to him now.

Nate shook his head. "Of course I care that Natalie is my daughter. You're the one who told me to stay away from her. And, I do till love you. " Nate pressed the send button when Kevelyn knocked on the door.

Haley read the text and wrote back "Maybe you do care that Natalie is your daughter but can you just sign your rights away if you had any which you don't? I only told you to stay away from Natalie earlier cause Kevelyn is a bitch to me. You don't still love me if you are with Kevelyn and going to propose to her like she said you were and she doesn't really love you or she wouldn't have flirted with Caleb earlier at the beach Nathan." Haley pressed send and sat there on the steps of the beach house holding Natalie on her lap

Nate stood up. He walked out of the bathroom with his cell phone still in his hand. He passed Kevelyn and looked at her. "Is it true? Have you been flirting with Caleb?"
Kevelyn looked at him but didn't say anything. She'd figured this would happen sooner or later. There was no way they'd get marry. She'd might just go back to California and take a job as a waitress. She held up her hands.
Nathan shook his head and then halfran down the stairs. He opened the frontdoor.

Haley sat there and wondered why Nathan didn't text her back. She then heard the front door open and looked and saw Nathan and looked at him not saying anything to him for a few minutes. Then she spoke "Nathan did you get my last text message about Not if you are sleeping with her and going to propose to Kevelyn and marry her no you can't still love me if you have done those things with her.."
Natalie looked up and saw Nathan and got down off Haley's lap and ran over to Nathan. "Hi Nathan.." Natalie said looking at him.

Nathan looked down at the girl. His daughter. He couldn't believe it even though looking at her was like looking in the mirror. He got her up in his arms and hugged her tight and then looked at Haley. "I can't believe you didn't tell me. I had a right to know."

Haley looked up at him and Natalie "I am so sorry I didn't tell you. I wanted to but I was scared of what you would say. I was afraid you wouldn't want to be a father. That last day at the lawyer's when you said I was sitting there looking like I was going to throw up right there..well that is cause I probably was. I had just found a few days before that about being pregnant. I should have told you when I found out. Did you get the last text about you can't still love me if you are sleeping with Kevelyn and going to propose to her? Cause I still love you and haven't done those things with anyone else even though you said I was out screwing a bunch of guys before. When did you call me anyways and you said I didn't answer after our divorce?"

Nathan looked at Haley. "About a few months after the divorce was final. I kinda got a panic attack and called you. When you didn't answer I kinda made up stuff in my head. I saw you in bars and those kinda stuff. I guessed you'd moved on, so I went to a local bar and that's where I met Kevelyn. And how can you say that I don't love you because I have been with Kevelyn? You're with Caleb."
